Rate Guarantee: The $105/night room rate is only guaranteed through July 12, 2023, when booking under the “2023 NPPA” Group Room Block. After the cutoff date, this rate may no longer be available provided the rest of the hotel isn’t close to being sold out and they agree to extend the deadline (usually just by another 7 days at most if that is the case). However, note that NPPA’s lower negotiated Resort Fee rate will still be guaranteed up through the date of our show start, so be sure to continue booking under our Group Block to get that discounted Resort Fee rate.
WIN A FREE HOTEL NIGHT (3 CHANCES): from all the NPPA registered Pharmacy Attendees who book their hotel at Horseshoe Las Vegas, the 2023 NPPA Conference headquarters! Simply make your hotel reservations at Horseshoe LV under our “2023 NPPA” Group Room Block. After the show, using our final room reports from the hotel, all NPPA guests will be entered in a random drawing, for 1 of 3 lucky registered Attendees, to be awarded 1 FREE HOTEL NIGHT ($105.00 plus tax and $35 plus tax Resort Fee). The 3 winners will be refunded by check after the Conference. Exclusions for this promotion: GPO, Scholarship & Speaker-Attendees, and Vendor-Exhibitors do not qualify.
New Carpet in Meeting Rooms & Exhibit Hall space for NPPA: In December 2022, the hotel added brand-new carpet to all of the convention meeting rooms that NPPA holds the CE lectures and breakout sessions in, as well as the Events Center space for the Vendor-Exhibit Hall. The Events Center is expansive with plenty of room for all the exhibitors and the attendees calling on them, without it being overcrowded. There’s even enough space for 2 cash bars in the Hall as well as multiple snacks and goodies, for all attendees over the 2.5 to 3 hours of exhibit time each day.
Horseshoe, a Caesar’s Entertainment property, is not only in the middle of all the action on the Vegas Strip, but it even has the Paris Hotel attached to it (another Caesar’s property), with the entrance to each within one indoor complex, so that you don’t need to go outside first, which can be a huge benefit when it’s summertime in Vegas. Just go to one side of the casino through an archway, and suddenly you’re in the other hotel!
Book your hotel room at the 2023 NPPA Conference headquarters, Horseshoe Las Vegas (formerly Bally’s), in their North Resort Tower rooms, which were fully remodeled top to bottom in spring of 2018 (see photos below). The Resort Tower rooms all have new pillowtop beds, carpet, bathrooms, and other furniture–and a mini-refrigerator in every room! The rooms measure just over 450 square feet and include a 42-inch flat-screen TV with basic cable channels and option for in-room movies (for an additional charge), hairdryer, iron and ironing board, clock radio, and a safe. The views are either of Paris Las Vegas or the Grand Bazaar shopping plaza in front of the hotel.
The NPPA Group Room rate is $105/night plus tax, with a discounted Resort Fee of $35/night plus tax (regularly now $40 night plus tax to other guests). Resort Fee includes the following (on a daily basis): “Premium” Wi-Fi for 2 devices (in sleeping rooms), Fitness Center Access for 2, and free/unlimited local phone calls. The NPPA room rate is applicable for either 1 King bed or 2 Queen beds, single or double occupancy.
Dining Options: Horseshoe’s recent updates include 2 new restaurants: the well-reviewed Jack Binion’s steakhouse, and M.Y. ASIA by renowned chef Martin Yen (expected to open before August 2023). Additionally, there is a full-service Fast-Food Court located downstairs that includes Sbarro for Italian, Pan Asian Express, Subway, Nathan’s, and Johnny Rockets for burgers/fries & shakes (take the escalators down from the Casino level, and go to the end of the mini-shopping mall to get to the Food Court). For shopping, first there’s the indoors mini-mall downstairs (clothing, shoes, gifts, chair massage, a wine & liquor store, and more); plus the outdoor Grand Bazaar Shops also with fast-food options, located at the front of Horseshoe on the Las Vegas Strip. And with the Paris Hotel down another hallway of the complex, it means that you also get all the Paris restaurants available to you with just as easy an access, giving you DOUBLE the number of restaurants and other amenities in close walking distance, all without having to venture outside!
Location/Directions for all: The Resort Tower sleeping rooms are in the same Tower as our Meeting Space & Exhibit Hall, which means everything is easily and quickly accessible from the elevator that connects to your sleeping room! The NPPA Conference Lecture Hall, where the main educational sessions are held, is located downstairs in the Casino level’s Grand Ballroom space (also where provided breakfast meals will be located). The Vendor-Exhibit Hall will be in the hotel’s Events Center space, which is at the end of the same hallway as the Grand Ballroom location for our Lecture Hall. To get to either location from your Resort Tower sleeping room, take the elevator from your room floor down to the Casino level and take an immediate left, where you will enter the hallway for all of that level’s Convention Meeting Rooms & Events Center. Check-in for both Attendees & Exhibitors is in the Grand Salon area just outside of the Grand Ballroom. Lastly, our Opening Reception for Attendees will be held on the 26th Floor, in SkyView Rooms 5/6 (same Tower & elevators). Las Vegas Monorail Hours of Operation & Information: Horseshoe hotel even has a monorail stop in their hotel, downstairs from the Casino area down the escalators near the pool area, at the end of the shopping mall and fast-food courts. Skip the traffic and get to your destination on The Strip in less than 15 minutes, with trains arriving at each station (such as Horseshoe) every 4 to 8 minutes until closing time each late night. Hours (for all locations) are: Monday 7 am-12 midnight, Tuesday through Thursday 7 am-2 am, and Friday through Sunday 7 am-3 am. Ticket Costs are: $5 one-way, $13 for daily unlimited pass and more options. For details, visit: www.lvmonorail.com
Check-In & Check-Out Times: Horseshoe hotel arrival check-in time starts at 4:00 pm. If you arrive early, you can either wait and they will store your bags at the Bell Desk until your room is ready, or you can request an early check-in if it’s available at the time–however note that they will charge you an additional fee. Upon departure, check-out time is 11:00 am. If you need to check out later than that, you may call the Front Desk that morning (or sometimes the night before) to see if they can approve your request.
Options for SELF Check-In & Check-Out: Bypass the lines and check-in (or out) to your room through a link provided by the hotel to your email address (as long as you’ve provided that email and your address when initially booking your reservation). Another option–if you are a Caesars Rewards member–is to get their mobile app on your phone and check in or out yourself via the app. Lastly, for check-in onsite, you can use the kiosks in the hotel lobby in front of the regular front desk check-in area. And if you use self-check-out online or through the Caesars Rewards mobile app, the hotel will then email you a receipt of your final bill.
Parking Fees for Hotel Guests: Self-parking at Horseshoe for registered hotel guests is $18/day. However, if you are a Platinum, Diamond, or Seven Star Rewards member of Caesars property hotels, self-parking is free. See additional details at: www.caesars.com/parking (be sure to scroll further down the page to view the correct city’s parking information, to the section titled “Parking Costs: Las Vegas Properties”).
