Editor’s Note: Here find a corrected final version of the Supportive Vendor Ratings for 2007-2008
(paid support from 1/1/07-3/31/08). Although the points calculated for each of the Conference’s Sponsors were
correct, the category codes for them were listed incorrectly, for all companies. In addition, a miscalculation error
for one company has been corrected, making the Top Specialty Distributor now a tie contest.
We are grateful to all of the companies here that have supported us in our best efforts to effectively serve the Pharmacy
Buyer community.

The Top Companies by Category Type are:
Cardinal Health in the Major Drug Wholesaler category;
Bedford Laboratories in the Drug Company category;
Acute
Care Pharmaceuticals and MedSearch Pharmaceuticals are tied in the Specialty Distributor category;
and
EXP Pharmaceutical Services in the Reverse Distributor category.
Note that we are no longer distinguishing the Family of Companies, as we did last year, since there
are now so many companies that have divisions, it has been too difficult for us to keep track of.
In the charts that follow, we have identified the top three vendors in the above listed category types. This is followed by a point listing according to our Point Values Schedule where all
supportive companies are ranked by points accumulated. While the highest rated
companies are truly thanked for their high levels of participation, we also thank those companies who provided any amount
of service. It all goes to assist us in being able to service the pharmacy purchasing
community more effectively.
In the July-August PPO edition, we will identify the companies
who have exhibited long-standing support of our conferences by displaying at 10 or more of our 12 Pharmacy Purchasing Networking
Conferences. Such loyal vendors help us provide the best experience possible
for the pharmacy purchasing professionals who attend at affordable registration rates.
These company representatives will be provided with special credentials to wear at the Conference, which will identify
their long-standing support, so our conference attendees can thank them for their many years of service to Pharmacy Buyers.
Due to the fine track record of the many companies who display at our conferences, it is only fitting
for Pharmacy Buyers to attend in huge numbers to show your appreciation. There
is still time to register and attend the 12th Conference at the Las Vegas Hilton, where vendor displays this year are in the
same general area where the educational programs will be conducted. No more long
hikes to get to the displays!
