About Pharmacy Purchasing Outlook newsletter
This monthly (except for Feb. & August) newsletter was introduced by Summerdale Enterprises
in March of 1994 as an independent publication totally dedicated to the issues and news affecting pharmaceutical purchasing
agents, their supervisors and group contracting executives. Average Circulation: 500 institutional pharmacy buyers and group
contractors, and 150 drug company representatives. Issues are sent first class mail, by the 15th of issue month. In
addition, we conduct Annual Pharmacy Purchasing Networking Conferences in the inexpensive and action-packed city of Las Vegas.

Premium Positions are usually reserved in advance, so please check on availability of your preferred position as early
as possible. Also note that previous advertisers who have held such positions have the right of first refusal.
Premium
Positions must be paid for in advance, in either a series of 5 or 10 (we publish 10 ads each year; off-months are February
and August). See discount schedule below for quantity discounts that are available.
DISCOUNTS AVAILABLE & CHECKING COPIES
Subscribers: If someone in your company is a PPO subscriber,
you may take a 7% discount. To add a PPO Subscription, the rates are: $125, 1-year; $216, 2-years.
Paying for Series:
If paying for 5 ads in advance, an additional 3% may be discounted. For a 10 ad payment in advance, an additional 7% can be
applied. In either case, it does not have to be the same ad each month.
Ad Agencies: When using an offsite ad agency,
you may take a 15% discount. Maximum Discount: The maximum total discount allowed is 15%.
Checking Copies: 2 for
each Ad page placed.
DEADLINES/CONTACT PERSON
Notification of Initial Reservation of Ad Pages: Send to Larry@pharmacypurchasing.com, or via fax to 858-581-6372, By the 10th of the month prior to the month of publication (for example, by February
10 for the March edition. Include how many total ad pages to reserve, For what month’s edition/s you would like it to
run in, and Whether you will be sending a New Art file for the ad via email, or whether you would like us to “Pick-up”
your ad from a previous month’s issue that your company had already run. If a New Art file is expected, it must be received,
via email, by the 20th of each month before the month of the ad to be run in (for example, by February 20 for the March edition).
Art files must be sent in Black & White, as a high-resolution pdf file (see Specs below for further details).
If you have your own Insertion Order to send (as long as the above questions are answered in your notification, that
serves as your IO to us, but if your company uses an official IO form, we will accept that as well). Note: When you have committed
to a series of ads, and have not informed us whether an ad will be a pickup from a previous month, or to expect new artwork,
within a week past our deadline to send new art (20th of each month), we will pickup the previous ad run.
SPECS*:
PDF files (high-resolution) preferred for best possible final print-quality (at a resolution
no lower than 300 dpi for quality output). NO BLEED. All type of full page ads will need a distinct border/margin, with the
print area size ending up to be 7.5" x 10" to 10.5" (due to our newsletter's borders and 3-hole punch, although the actual
paper size is 8.5" x 11").
*The above will produce a print ready file of maximum quality. Files received other than
the above mentioned may be charged with a conversion and setup fee of $60.00.
INVOICES
Invoices are sent out at the time of publication, and are Due Upon Receipt.
When payment
has not been received after 45 days from the invoice date, a 2% service charge will be added for all outstanding balances.
